Strong middle distance runner, with a breakthrough in WOC 2005 in Japan with a 4th place. Impressed at EOC 2006 when he held Thierry Gueorgiou behind him and went solo on the last leg in the relay. Junior World champion in ski-orienteering 2001. Has been struggling with injury the last couple of seasons and withdrew from the WOC-team 2008 five days before the event. In 2009 he took a NOC-relay gold with Sweden, and continued to show great results at the middle distance with a 6th spot at both WOC and the middle distance World Cup race in Oslo in June. Only achieved a 12th place at the World Champs in Trondheim in 2010 - and has had injury problems in 2011.

Very good start of the 2011 season - winning the overall Nordic Orienteering Tour 2011, and winning with big margin in the Swedish WOC test races in France. One of the big gold favourites at WOC in France if she has kept her spring shape. Got her big international breakthrough with the bronze medal at the World Champs in Czech Republic in 2008. Struggled more in 2009, but back in the top with a second spot overall in the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2008 for her breakthrough in 2008 with her first medal in the World Champs with Bronze medal on the Long distance. Had a big disappointment in Venla 2007 when she was leading on the last leg for OK Linné, only to be taken off the course because the team was disqualified on an earlier leg. Started orienteering in Järfälla OK. Educated as a phyisotherapist

Strong runner, especially on sprint and middle. Has performer very well in the Nordic Orienteering Tour - finishing 5th overall in 2010 and 3rd in 2011. Bronze medal from the sprint of WOC 2007. Info/Biography[Info not updated in 2012]
Big Swedish orienteering star who had her big breakthrough as a senior with two gold medals at NOC 2007, and a relay silver in WOC 2007. Took the bronze medal at the sprint in Olomouc in Czech Republic in 2008, and continued all the way up to the top of the ladder with gold medal at WOC sprint in 2010. Missed the gold medal at WOC 2010 - but was still very happy with a silver medal. Junior-star with six medals from 4 JWOC-years. Missed out on the individual medals in her last year as a junior, but took the step to senior class in impressive fashion being 8th and 11th at EOC 2006. Impressive orienteering technique, constantly improving her running with a tough training regime made by her coach Harri Viinimäki. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2009 for her first World Championships’ gold medal at the sprint in Hungary after a great performance. Also: For doing something that no other elite runner has ever done before - winning all 5 days of O-Ringen. And winning the gold at the Nordic Championships and the opening stage of the World Cup. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2008 for her WOC Breakthrough in 2008 with her first individual WOC-medal: Sprint Bronze. Also decided EOC Relay for Sweden.

15th overall in the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010 after finishing 8th in the KnockOut sprint in Stockholm. Only selected for the second team of Domnarvet for Tiomila 2009 (first team ended second), but came back in the team for Venla where she lost a lot of time on the last leg.
