Info/BiographyStrong middle distance runner, with a breakthrough in WOC 2005 in Japan with a 4th place. Impressed at EOC 2006 when he held Thierry Gueorgiou behind him and went solo on the last leg in the relay. Junior World champion in ski-orienteering 2001. Has been struggling with injury the last couple of seasons and withdrew from the WOC-team 2008 five days before the event. In 2009 he took a NOC-relay gold with Sweden, and continued to show great results at the middle distance with a 6th spot at both WOC and the middle distance World Cup race in Oslo in June.

Info/BiographyHad a big disappointment in Venla 2007 when she was leading on the last leg for OK Linné, only to be taken off the course because the team was disqualified on an earlier leg. Started orienteering in Järfälla OK. Educated as a phyisotherapist Got her big international breakthrough with the bronze medal at the World Champs in Czech Republic in 2008. Struggled more in 2009, but back in the top with a second spot overall in the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2008 for her breakthrough in 2008 with her first medal in the World Champs with Bronze medal on the Long distance.

Works as a chemical engineer. Many times Swedish champion. Individual EOC medal in 2008 in Latvia over the long distance (bronze).

Info/BiographyStrong runner, especially on sprint and middle. Went out in the qual at both WOC 2005 and two times as EOC 2006 - then took a bronze medal at the spint of WOC 2007. Bronze medal in the NOC-sprint 2005. English/Swedish study at the university and works as a teacher for orienteering and skiing. Silver medal from JWOC ski-o 2001. Changed from IK HP to Stora Tuna ahead of 2007. Had a great spring season, winning the pre-WOC races and anchoring her club Stora Tuna to a win in Tiomila. Then she suffered a "subarachniodal haemorrhage", injury to her brain. She could not compete in EOC and also missed WOC. Back in the absolute top at the European Champs in Bulgaria in 2010, where she took the bronze medal at middle and was in the Swedish relay team which took the gold medal. Finished 5th overall in the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010.

Info/BiographyStrong Swedish runner who got her big breakthrough during the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010 with a second place in the KnockOut sprint in Stockholm. Through a good race in the final chasing start she finished 7th overall in the Nordic Orienteering Tour 2010. Awarded the Ultimate Junior of 2008 after three JWOC medals in 2008: Gold in Relay and silver in both long and middle. Also victory in D20E in O-Ringen.

Info/BiographyYoung Swede who made her national team debut in EOC 2008 with a 7th place on the sprint. That was enough to give her a chance in WOC as well, where she finished 15th. Changed over first after the first leg of Tiomila 2008. Changed from Visborgs OK to OK Hällen ahead of 2009-season. Bronze medalist on the Middle distance at World Games 2009 her major break-thru, which she continued with a great silver medal at the sprint in WOC 2009 in Hungary. She topped the sprint silver medal with a 5th spot on long, showing that she is not only a sprinter. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2009 for her incredible breakthrough this year with the World Championships’ silver and the World Games bronze. Also: winning the Nordic Championships’ relay.

Info/BiographyBig Swedish orienteering star who had her big breakthrough as a senior with two gold medals at NOC 2007, and a relay silver in WOC 2007. Took the bronze medal at the sprint in Olomouc in Czech Republic in 2008, and continued all the way up to the top of the ladder with gold medal at WOC sprint in 2010. Junior-star with six medals from 4 JWOC-years. Missed out on the individual medals in her last year as a junior, but took the step to senior class in impressive fashion being 8th and 11th at EOC 2006. Impressive orienteering technique, constantly improving her running with a tough training regime made by her coach Harri Viinimäki. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2009 for her first World Championships’ gold medal at the sprint in Hungary after a great performance. Also: For doing something that no other elite runner has ever done before - winning all 5 days of O-Ringen. And winning the gold at the Nordic Championships and the opening stage of the World Cup. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of the year in 2008 for her WOC Breakthrough in 2008 with her first individual WOC-medal: Sprint Bronze. Also decided EOC Relay for Sweden.

Info/Biography15th overall in the first edition of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010 after finishing 8th in the KnockOut sprint in Stockholm. Only selected for the second team of Domnarvet for Tiomila 2009 (first team ended second), but came back in the team for Venla where she lost a lot of time on the last leg. Normally a strong relay runner, though.

Info/BiographySwedish Sprint champion 2005 in his first senior year, but did not get a place in the WOC-team. One gold and one silver at JWOC 2004 after being out for six months due to overtraining. Very strong skier and runner. Was in the leading group of Vasaloppet for 70kms 2006 and ended in around 50th place. Represented Sweden in U-23 WCH in Cross Country skiing 2007. Has a medal from JWOC-ski-o as well. Collapsed on the long distance in Kiev 2007, but came back to take a sensational bronze medal on the sprint a few days later. Studying about half-time in construction-engineering. Has two sisters and one brother. Had a toe-injury ahead of WOC 2008, but recovered in time to take another bronze medal on the sprint. In 2009 he got his first WC-victory when getting away from the leading group on a short route-choice leg at the WC chasing start in Oslo. Got severly injured on the last leg at the WOC 2009 relay in a very special episode where Thierry Gueorgiou, Michal Smola and Anders Nordberg stopped there races to help ; all three loosing their chance for a medal for their nations. Johansson recovered again during the winter.

Especially good in Nordic terrain, where he has been dominating the orienteering scene for long periods. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of 2009 for being the dominating orienteer in the spring season. Winning the Nordic Championships middle distance and relay, as well as winning as the World Cup middle distance in Norway. Also: taking bronze in the overall World Cup.

Info/BiographyHas international medals from all diciplins, winning four EOC sprints and the WOC-sprints in 2005 and 2006. Lived in Norway for many years, first in Trondheim competing for NTNUI, then for Halden- winning Tiomila and Jukola with Halden. Lives together with Anja Mattick, a former member of the german national team. They have three children; Liam, born 2005, Minna, born 2007. A runner for the big occasions! Was one of the main favorites for WOC 2008 sprint, he was on his way for the bronze medal, but run past a TV-control without punching. So no medal, but a real drama for the viewers and spectators. Back with a medal at the sprint in EOC 2010 - a bronze medal. Nominated for Orienteering Achievement of the year 2008 after winning four EOC sprint gold medals of four possible - the last one in this years EOC in Latvia. Nominated for the Orienteering Achievement of 2006 for winning gold medals in Sprint at the World and European Championships in 2006. The gold in the World Championships was the fifth straight championship Sprint gold for this Swede.
