Info/BiographyShowed at EOC 2008 that he can fight for top positions, getting 7th place on the long distance - and continued with a 9th spot at WOC middle in Olomouc later that year. Part of the Latvian team who took the 4th spot at the WOC relay in 2009 (but after the three top team stopped to help Swedish Martin Johansson on the last leg). Middle is his best discipline, but also good at the long distance.
