Born date24.11.1978
ResidenceBorlänge (SWE)
Info/Biography[Info not updated in 2012]
The youngest junior world champion ever when she surprisingly anchored the Czech second team to a victory in 1995 - in the same area as WOC 2006 was held. Steadily improving her results in international championships - being very disappointed after barely missing the medals with the 4th place in Long in WOC 2011 in France. The silver medal in the relay in the France championships saved the championships for her, but Jurenikova is still waiting for her first individual medal. Has run all WOC since 1999 (except of WOC 2003 and 2004 when focusing on multisports). Was on Domnarvets winning team at Venla 2008 and 2011. Orienteering trainer of the year in Sweden in 2009. Made headlines in 2011 by being the elite athletes representant in opposing a new suggested World Championships program. Course setter and one of the main organizers in European Championships in 2012.
