The best Austrian over a period of 10 years. Has top 10 results in the World Championships in all disciplines. Already in Japan in 2005 he finished 9th on the middle distance, then 3 years later 9th in the WOC-sprint in Czech Republic and 8th on the long distance in Italy in 2014 - 10 years after his first WOC. 2011 was his first time in the Top 3 in the World Cup, finishing 3rd in the middle distance World Cup race in Czech Republic. Also won the military world champs in 2011 in Brasil.
