Junior World Champion in relay in JWOC on home ground in 2011 - after a very strong second leg were he brought his team up 15 places. Several good junior results - topped with 9th in sprint and 11th in long. Started orienteering in August 2005, and managed to qualify for the National Junior Team already in October 2006. Qualified for JWOC 2008 in Sweden, but had to skip JWOC in 2009 due to injury. During JWOC 2010 in Denmark placed 14th in middle and 5th in relay.

In 2011 (JWOC on home ground) got his best individual international results: 9th in sprint and 11th in long. In 2012 took part in WUOC in Alicante (Spain), but with no spectacular results. Had problems getting to the desired shape in the elite class, but at last managed to qualify for WOC 2014 in Italy in really good shape. Ran 2 EYOCs both in Switzerland 2008 and Serbia 2009 - finishing 5th in long in Serbia in 2009.
