Took his first WOC medals at his 12th World Orienteering Championships, in Inverness, Scotland in 2015: Silver at both the forest relay and the Sprint relay. The best Norwegian sprinter for a long period with 4th place in WOC sprint in both 2005 in Japan and in 2010 in Norway on homeground. Competing internationally also in Ski-orienteering. In 2013 he got a new good result in the KnockOut sprint in the Nordic Tour with 2nd place in Sigtuna, Sweden. Here he proved that a sprint medal in WOC still is within capacity. Made a strong start to the WOC sprint 2008, but lost his SI-card and had to search for it almost one minute. 5th place in the first KnockOut sprint in the World Cup which was part of the Nordic Orienteering Tour in 2010.
