Fantastic sprinter who is also a good forest orienteer. Had a fantastic World Orienteering Championship in Scotland in 2016 where she dominated the sprints; taking a clear individual gold medal and also deciding the Sprint Relay for Denmark. As of June 2017, Maja Alm has won 10 WOC medals, of which 5 are gold medals. In addition she has won 5 EOC medals, of which 4 are individual medals. Made her entry in the very top of the world orienteering elite with the silver medal at the WOC sprint in Lausanne in Switzerland in 2012.
