Moved to Sweden in 1999 to improve his orienteering. Stayed in Borlänge, Hedemora and Gothenburg as a teacher. Became one of the world stars by winning the WOC-gold in sprint in Switzerland 2003. Surprised many with his bronze on the middle distance in 2006. Living and working in Denmark- Jamie has less time for training and travelling. So far this season he has not competed in the World Cup.
