Toni is one of a handful of athletes to compete at both WOC 1999 and WOC 2015 in Scotland. In 1999 she qualified for the A final in the short distance and finished in 48th place, her best result at WOC as of the start of the 2015 championships. She also competed at JWOC 1997 and 1998, WUOC 1998 and 2000 and WOC 2001. Her highest place at World Cups came in 2005 when she finished 23rd in the middle distance of the UK round of World Cups. She has been Irish Champion at Classic Distance three times and at the Middle Distance four times. She has had two children in the years since her last WOC and World Cup performances and is based in Loughborough.
