Made everybody look twice when he took a surprise 2nd place at the World Cup final middle distance in Arosa, Switzerland in 2015. Has several World Cup, WOC and EOC results between 10 and 20, his best WOC results being 12th place from WOC sprint in 2016 and WOC long in 2015. Has a bronze medal from JWOC sprint from back in 2006. Strong technical orienteer.
