Athlete profile: Marianne Andersen
Athlete background info last updated August 2011
One of the absolutely top women orienteers with a lot of international silver medals - but still lacks the individual gold medal. In WOC 2010 on homeground she took another silver medal and two bronze medals. A lot of injury problems in the 2011-season - nearly not running at all from January until July. In 2006 she was pushing Simone for the victory in both middle and long, and two more medals came in Ukraina (bronze).
