Has been running 7 different World Championships over a period of 20 years - the first back in 1995 in Germany - then in '97, '99, '01, '04, '11 and '15. Best result is the 40th place at the short distance in 1999 in Scotland. Started Orienteering in 1984 and ran JWOC in 1991 to 1994 - the best result being a 20th place at the short distance in Italy in 1993. Irish champion: 17 times in Elite (9 long distance). Mapper for the 1998 World Cup in Ireland. Best race: Running the Men's Open relay at the Irish Championships at the age of 12.
