Finally won an individual WOC-medal by taking third place in Japan, and got one step closer to the gold in Denmark with silver in the middle race. Has made all his best international results on Middle and relay. Lived in Halden since 2000-2006, before moving back to Finland and now running for Tampereen Pyrintö. Jarkko was a very important part of Haldens relay-successes. Many of Jarkko runs on "the long night" are legendary.
