Started orienteering at age 9 and began taking things more seriously at the age of 13 and was a member of the North West Junior Squad. Benefited greatly from this training and other international tours. Represented GBR at 4 JWOC'S from 2010 - 2013. Attended the University of Edinburgh from 2012 - 2016, graduating with a BSc in Sports Science in June 2016. Whilst at university, part of the University of Edinburgh performance programme. Since graduating, lived in Canberra, Australia for 8 months working as an orienteering coach. Represented GBR in WOC long distance in Scotland 2015.
