Athlete profile: Carl Godager Kaas
Athlete background info last updated 2015-07-31 15:12:51
The big surprise winner at the World Championships in Trondheim in 2010 - winning the middle distance ahead of Peter Öberg and Thierry Gueorgiou. However, Godager Kaas, or Waaler Kaas which was his name before he married Lene, had prepared very well for the championships, and the ones who had followed him closely knew that he was very capable of taking the gold medal. On his way to something big in 2012 with bronze in EOC middle, but did not perform well at the World Champs.
